Participants will gain an overview of the most important national and international regulations governing good scientific practice, but will also learn that there are grey areas between good and bad practice. This interactive and self-reflective course focuses in particular on the topics of good scientific practice in dealing with research data, supervision and conflicts (day 2) as well as publication and authorship (day 3).
In addition, a basic understanding of compliance (day 1) is provided, which is the basis for rule-compliant decision-making and action. For the compliance course (day 1), it is necessary to complete an open-vhb course in advance and take a knowledge test in iLearn afterwards.
